Chess in East Jakarta 6

East Jakarta has the busiest mall venue in the directory: Tamini Square, the only mall in Makasar district, where Jayakarta Muda, the Percasi board of Jakarta and other organisers have held dozens of tournaments, many for primary-school players. Basura Chess plays at Mall Basura, where it has organised an open rapid championship for students and adults.

Coffee shops add smaller events. Tower 81 on Jalan Masjid Albariyah has hosted Speed Management, and Kedai Kopi Arih Ersada held a cup of the Mamre group, which also plays a numbered team tournament in Pondok Bambu. Benteng Cendekia Chess Club runs home tournaments in a military housing complex in Cakung Barat.
